Job Details
Provide medical direction and attend to residents across local skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Hillsboro, IL. This part-time role partners with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care and clinical oversight at assigned facilities.

Locations
- Primary: Hillsboro, IL area facilities (current opportunities include Carlinville, Casey, Coulterville, Flanagan, Galesburg, Macomb, Marshall, Mascoutah, Paris, and Springfield).
- Additional openings nationwide: IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, WI.
Schedule & Workload
- Part-time: physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week.
- No fixed daily start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts.
- Typical patient volume: 18-25 visits per day.
- Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation.
- New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide attending physician services and clinical oversight in skilled nursing facilities.
- Collaborate with NPs/PAs and facility staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Perform evaluations, progress notes, admissions, discharges, and timely documentation.
- Lead quality improvement and compliance activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with families, facility staff, and consulting providers.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
