Job Details

Join a growing post-acute care team in North Conway, New Hampshire, as a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician. This full-time, facility-based inpatient role offers an excellent work-life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule (9:00 AM-5:00 PM), no weekends and no on-call responsibilities. Additional opportunities are available in Hyannis, MA, and Burlington and St. Albans, VT.

Key responsibilities and features
  • Provide inpatient/post-acute care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings
  • Manage medically complex patients with a focus on recovery and quality of life
  • Build long-term patient relationships while working with an interdisciplinary care team
  • High degree of clinical autonomy supported by robust clinical resources
  • Flexible employment options: full-time, part-time, and PRN

Compensation and benefits
  • Guaranteed base compensation $200,000-$500,000+, with most full-time physicians earning $300,000-$500,000

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty
  • Active, unrestricted state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure; DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in hospital medicine, post-acute care, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or internal medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to travel between assigned facilities as needed
