- Primary Call: 3 nights during each 7-day block
- Backup Call: 4 nights supporting the Nurse Practitioner

Manageable Patient Volume
- Average daily census: 9 to 11 patients
- Typically no more than 16 patients
- Approximately 2 admissions per day
- Swing-bed patients may account for more than 50% of the census

- Hospitalist experience preferred
- Comfortable seeing occasional pediatric patients
- Active Illinois license preferred
