Lead Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Hospital Medicine and Care at Home Program

Our Hospital Medicine service is uniquely positioned—combining world-class clinical expertise, cutting-edge research, and a deeply collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to care for medically complex patients across the continuum.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our leadership team for the Hospital Medicine (Med7 APP team) and Stanford Health Care @ Home Program. This position will focus administratively on hospital medicine.

This position offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of hospital-level care delivery, blending hands-on clinical practice with strategic leadership. The role is structured with a clinical and administrative split, allowing the APP to remain grounded in patient care while driving program development, workforce engagement, and operational excellence. Hours are typically 2, 12 hours days and 2, 8 hours days per week (40 hours/week), includes weekends and holidays.

Experience: At least 3 years as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), with a preference for experience in hospital medicine

Leadership: Demonstrated interest in leadership roles.
