• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,840-$8,110
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care hospital with open ICU
• Schedule: Day hospitalist, swing shift, and nocturnist coverage available
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
• Start Date: October 1, 2026
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Orientation: 1 day of orientation/shadowing plus 1 additional shadow day
• Patient Volume: Approximately 18-22 rounded cases per day; overall census around 140-160
• Admissions: About 25-30 per 24 hours
• Call: No call coverage

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience required
• Board certification or physician qualification appropriate for hospital medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license eligible for the assignment
• Comfort managing diverse inpatient cases in a high-volume acute care environment
• Ability to work independently with an experienced hospital medicine team
• Case logs may be required for credentialing
• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for day, swing, or nocturnist shifts
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of adult inpatient conditions
• Manage ongoing inpatient follow-ups and coordinate care across specialties
• Round on assigned patients and support admissions as needed
• Work within an open ICU setting without vent management or procedural requirements
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient throughput in a busy hospital medicine environment
