Position Details:
Provider Requirements:
- Specialty: Hospital Medicine
- Location: Rochester, NH
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- Duration: 3 months
- Openings: 1 physician
- Schedule: Day shift, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Call: Physician is on-call for the entirety of the 6 AM 6 PM shift; no call or callback is expected after the shift ends
- Weekend: No specific weekend schedule provided
- Patient Census: patients/day
- Admissions: 4 5/day
- Consults: 4 6/day to behavioral health or rehabilitation units
- ICU: Open ICU with virtual intensivist/tele-intensivist support
- Patient Population: Underserved
- Procedures: None specifically required
- Vent/Drip Support: Virtual intensivist manages drips and vents
- Support: 2 NPs, PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, and support from ED/surgery for procedures
- Orientation: Two 12-hour shifts one orientation/shadow shift and one additional shadow shift
Provider Requirements:
- Seasoned Hospital Medicine experience preferred
- Ability to manage 22+ encounters encouraged
- Comfortable providing consultation to geropsych and rehab units
- Board certification requirements: Not specifically stated
- Emergency privileges may be considered depending on need
