The opportunity
- A brand new, independent company with serious private equity backing
- Value based care for a primarily geriatric population, with a reasonable census and a team that trusts each other
- State of the art support behind the bedside
- Bradenton and Manatee County, in hospital and skilled nursing facility settings
- Full time, with real time off protected
What you will do
- Serve as the physician of record for patients admitted to your service
- Complete admission workups, examine, diagnose, and treat across acute and complex conditions
- Order and evaluate diagnostics and perform common bedside procedures as needed
- Round at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and coordinate specialists
- Lead safe discharges and transitions, and support the advanced practice clinicians on the team
What you will bring
- MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Board certified or board eligible with certification within two years of joining, recent graduates welcome
- Strong inpatient management skills, a valid Florida driver license and reliable transportation, Spanish a plus
