Locums - Manchester, New Hampshire Hospitalist Opening
Clinical Role
Join an established Hospitalist team in Manchester, New Hampshire, providing coverage beginning October 1, 2026, for an initial three-month assignment.
This is an acute hospital setting with more than 300 beds and a diverse patient population. The Hospitalist service offers multiple shift options, including daytime, swing, and nocturnist coverage. Providers will manage inpatient follow-up care and approximately 18-22 cases per day.

No ventilator management or procedures are required.
Support & Team
The provider will work within a large acute hospital environment with several specialty services available for support. The multidisciplinary environment includes numerous specialty teams to assist with complex inpatient care.
Hospitalist teams do not conduct grand rounds.
Follow-Up Care
Follow-up cases are managed as inpatients when applicable. The Hospitalist team is responsible for continuing inpatient care and follow-up throughout the hospitalization.

- Provide Hospitalist coverage
- Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients
- Round on approximately 18-22 cases per day
- Manage inpatient follow-up cases
- Evaluate new admissions
- Participate in daytime, swing, or nocturnist coverage as scheduled
- Manage patients across a diverse inpatient population
- Coordinate care with specialty services
- Communicate with multidisciplinary hospital teams
- Provide appropriate inpatient follow-up
- Document patient care appropriately
Patient Volume
- Daily hospital census: approximately 140-160
- Approximately 18-22 cases per provider per day
- Approximately 25-30 admissions over a 24-hour period
- Diverse patient population
