Physician / Hospitalist / Kentucky / Locum tenens / Physician - Hospitalist Job

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 14-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7AM to 7AM, requiring prompt responses for patient consults, rounding, and patient follow-ups.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call in range from a hotel
• Be prepared to respond to call backs quickly for patient consults
• Conduct rounding and patient follow-ups
• Manage diabetes patients
• Perform stress tests and EKG interpretations
• Provide pediatric care and consults occasionally
• Handle discharging and transfers, post-operative monitoring
• Provide occasional other specialty consults in the ICU
• Be comfortable using ventilators as the client does not have intensivists
