Position Overview
The physician will be responsible for:

• Admission of new patients
• Cross-covering patient needs overnight
• Responding to codes (ER physician will run the code)
• Covering inpatient hospital medicine patients
• Covering a small/open ICU
• No required procedures

Patient Volume & Support

• Approximately 8 10 admissions per day
• Inpatient hospital medicine cases
• Small/open ICU coverage
• No mid-level providers overnight
• Intensivist available on call at night
• No other specialties in the building overnight
• On-call critical care physician support

Requirements Must Have

• Board Certified required
  • BE candidates are not accepted
• Active Georgia medical license required
  • IMLC/non-licensed candidates are not accepted
• Georgia DEA required
• ACLS required
• Required residency/fellowship training
• Clean malpractice history
• Clean/Class 1 credentialing file preferred

Credentialing

• Approximately 30 days for a clean/Class 1 file
• GA medical license required
• GA DEA required
• ACLS required
