Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist team serving patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Salud is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective health care that meets the needs of the diverse communities we serve. In this role, youll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team operating a 24/7 OB Hospitalist Program committed to excellent maternal and womens health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based Obstetric and Gynecologic care for patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.
- Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine Physicians in Labor & Delivery.
- Provide timely consultations in the Emergency Department.
- Serve as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents rotating through the department.
- Actively participate in Quality Improvement committees and hospital governance.
- Maintain continuing education and professional development to ensure licensure compliance.
- Keep all required certifications and licenses current (CA Medical License, CPR, Drivers License).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Principles, practices, and procedures in obstetrics and gynecology, including culturally sensitive patient care, informed consent, and shared decision-making.
Ability To:
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with staff, clients, community agencies, and the broader medical community.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid California OB/GYN Physicians and Surgeons License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Eligible for hospital admitting privileges at Watsonville Community Hospital
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $343,792.95 $379,598.34 annually
