MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas has an opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MyMichigan Hospital Medicine/Critical Care team in Tawas, Michigan. A strong focus of this inpatient role will be patient admissions management and complex medical care management. This is a night position with 7 on 7 off from 7 p.m. 7 a.m.
Candidates with inpatient experience are highly preferred. This APP must possess great communication and clinical skills.
APPs will work in conjunction with hospitalist physicians. There is a robust onboarding and training program as well as a formal mentorship program.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, Diagnose, and treat patients who are admitted. This can include managing chronic conditions, addressing acute medical issues, and collaborating with other healthcare professional.
- This position will require preforming procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, TDC, chest tubes, lines, and medports.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience Preferred
