DAY SHIFT HOSPITALIST ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (ACNP or PA)

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team at Texas Health HEB. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a strong hospitalist group providing high-quality inpatient care.
Position Details:
- Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up visits
- Initiate appropriate testing and treatment for medical conditions
- Perform history and physical examinations for new admissions
- Round on rehabilitation and long-term acute care patients
- Document patient care in the EMR system
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- 7 days on / 7 days off
Qualifications:
- Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- ACLS certification (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP, PA, or RN in ICU/CVICU
- Strong skills in:
- Critical thinking
- Communication
- Time management
- Clinical judgment and decision-making
- Active listening and reading comprehension
