- Provide high-quality obstetric care for inpatient and unassigned obstetric patients
- Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage labor and delivery, including emergency situations
- Participate in on-call rotations and coverage as scheduled
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Support patient education and family communication
Required:
- Current Texas medical license or eligibility
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges (expedited privileges available for clean files)
Preferred:
- Previous experience as an OB hospitalist or in a similar hospital-based role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
