Pay & Benefits

• Salary Range: $300,000 $350,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

What You ll Do

• Provide direct inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers
• Order and interpret lab, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response situations
• Document clinical encounters thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, hospital committees, and quality initiatives
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care

What You Need
Required:

• MD or DO licensed or eligible to practice in Vermont
• Ability to work with a collaborative, patient-centered approach
• Experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist experience in a community hospital setting
• Comfortable managing a broad range of medical conditions without procedural requirements
