• Assignment Range: October-December 2026
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Swing Shift: 5:00 PM-1:00 AM, with potential extension based on volume
• Nocturnist Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Call: None
• Setting: Acute inpatient hospital
• Round on approximately 18-22 patients per day
• Open ICU coverage included
• No procedures required
• No ventilator management required
• Specialty support available
• Two shadow/orientation days included

Requirements

• Experienced Hospitalist Physician
• Comfortable managing a diverse, higher-acuity inpatient population
• Comfortable rounding in an open ICU
• Case logs required

Responsibilities

• Provide general inpatient hospital medicine coverage
• Round on assigned patients during scheduled shifts
• Manage acute and ongoing inpatient medical conditions
• Participate in ICU rounding as appropriate
• Coordinate care with available specialty services
• Provide appropriate handoffs and continuity of care across hospitalist shifts
