Hospitalist Physician

A rural, community-focused hospital 40 miles north of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients.


Position Highlights:

• Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients
• Manage episodic and chronic conditions, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Provide internal medicine consultations
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and safety initiatives
• Contribute to continuing education and professional development
• Utilize current CPT/ICD-10 coding practices
• Work in a 60+bed rural community hospital

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current, valid North Carolina medical license or eligibility
• Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to meet institutional standards of care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
