Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity:

Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

Hospital Medicine position covering day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with on-call responsibility for the entirety of the shift

No call or callback expected once shift is completed

Seasoned providers capable of handling 22+ encounters per day are encouraged to apply

Must have recent acute care rehab experience

Round on a daily census of 14-24 patients

Handle 4-5 daily admissions

Provide consultations to behavioral health and rehab units, approximately 4-6 consults per day

Round in an open ICU with tele-intensivist involvement managing drips and vents

Support staff includes PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, a virtual intensivist, and ED/surgery for procedures

Patient population is primarily underserved

Facility has 100 beds and is not a trauma center
