Opportunity:

Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

  • Must already hold an active Alaska license

  • Board certified in ABIM or Family Medicine required

  • 12-hour shifts operating on a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM rotation

  • Must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month

  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends required

  • Patient census ranges from 90-95 with approximately 18-22 patient encounters per shift

  • Closed ICU unit with intensivist on site; no procedures required

  • No in-house call; call rotation is none

  • EMR system used is EPIC

  • Coverage need is ongoing
