• Seeking a board certified physician
  
• Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
  
• Hybrid Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine role
  
• Must have Emergency Medicine experience
  
• Must be comfortable working independently as the sole physician
  
• 24-hour, on-site coverage
  
• Must have an active North Dakota license
  
• Coverage needed:
  
  • Orientation: September 8 at 8a
    
  • September 9 at 12p - September 12 at 12p
    
• Noon-to-noon handoff
  
• Must remain available until 3p on the final day if the relief provider is delayed
  
• All new providers require orientation
  
• Orientation typically lasts approximately 4 hours and is paid
  
• Required certifications:
  
  • ACLS
    
  • BLS
    
  • PALS
    
  • ATLS
    
• Emergency department coverage, inpatient admissions, and rounding
  
• Average volume:
  
  • Approximately 9 ED patients per day
    
  • Approximately 6 inpatients per day
    
• No ICU beds on site
  
• Higher-acuity patients are transferred to Bismarck
  
• Procedures required
  
• No additional provider coverage - solo physician role
  
• 24/7 physician support available through telemedicine
  
• Subspecialty support includes cardiology, infectious disease, and pulmonology
  
• Morning rounds typically begin between 7a-8a
  
• Informal evening rounds around 9p-10p are encouraged to help reduce overnight disruptions
  
• Discharges are prioritized early in the day to improve patient flow
  
• EMR: Epic
  
• Temporary privileges available
  
• Call room available for providers upon arrival
  
• On-site apartment and additional sleep room available
  
• Flights and rental car covered
  
• Hotel covered for the first night upon arrival
