Hospitalist job in Saint Charles MO

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in St. Charles, Missouri. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, collaborative practice with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and the opportunity to provide clinical leadership and oversight that improves outcomes for post-acute and long-term care patients.

Locations

• Primary: St. Charles, Missouri
• Current facility opportunities: Columbia, Doniphan, Springfield, Strafford, Missouri
• Additional nationwide opportunities: GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, WI

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician and Medical Director across assigned skilled nursing facilities
• Collaborate with NPs and PAs to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and decision-making for residents
• Document care using company-provided iPad with LTE

Schedule & Workload

• Part-time: physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week
• No fixed daily start/end times; no call; no overnight shifts
• Average 18-25 patient visits per day
• Flexible schedule that supports work-life balance

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
• New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
