Job Details
We're looking for a committed Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Temperance, Michigan. This part-time role offers great schedule flexibility, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference for post-acute and long-term care patients. You'll work closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while offering clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.
Local facility opportunities include Bad Axe, East Jordan, Grayling, Holland, Houghton Lake, Manistique, Mount Pleasant, Ovid, and St. Joseph, Michigan. Additional openings are available nationwide in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

What the role looks like
- Part-time coverage of skilled nursing facilities, generally 1-2 days per week at each site
- Typical daily volume of 18-25 visits
- No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
- Work closely with NPs and PAs to coordinate care and provide clinical oversight
- Company-provided iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation
- New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are welcome to apply

What we're looking for
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
