Job Details

We're looking for a dedicated physician to serve as Medical Director/Attending Physician for skilled nursing facilities in and around Grayling, Michigan. This part-time role offers true schedule flexibility, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the care of post-acute and long-term care patients. You'll work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide patient-centered care while offering clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.

  • Local opportunities in Michigan include: Bad Axe, East Jordan, Holland, Houghton Lake, Manistique, Mount Pleasant, Ovid, St. Joseph, and Temperance.
  • Additional facility opportunities nationwide: Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

What the schedule looks like
  • Part-time coverage of skilled nursing facilities (typically 1-2 days per week per site)
  • No fixed start/end times and no on-call or overnight shifts
  • Expect to see roughly 18-25 patients per day
  • Highly flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance

Who we're looking for
  • MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communicator with leadership ability and sound clinical decision-making
  • A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply
