Job Details

We are seeking a Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care and clinical leadership across skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Hutchinson, Kansas. This part-time role emphasizes collaboration with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care, oversight, and guidance within assigned facilities while maintaining flexible scheduling and a strong work-life balance.

Locations
  • Hutchinson area facilities with current opportunities in Cottonwood Falls, Parsons, Sedan, Wilson, and McPherson, KS.
  • Additional nationwide opportunities available in GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, and WI.

Role highlights
  • Part-time commitment: physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week.
  • No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities.
  • Typical daily volume: 18-25 visits.
  • Collaborative practice model working closely with experienced NPs and PAs.
  • Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation.
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
