Job Details

We're looking for a dedicated physician to provide clinical leadership and hands-on care for residents in local skilled nursing facilities around Bad Axe, Michigan. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of post-acute and long-term care patients. You'll work alongside experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver patient-centered care and provide medical oversight across assigned facilities.

Where you could work
  • Primary: Bad Axe, with coverage opportunities in East Jordan, Grayling, Holland, Houghton Lake, Manistique, Mount Pleasant, Ovid, St. Joseph, and Temperance, MI.
  • Additional locations available nationwide in GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MO, NC, OH, TN, and WI.

What the role looks like
  • Part-time coverage for skilled nursing facilities (typically 1-2 days per facility per week)
  • No fixed start/end times and no overnight shifts or on-call responsibilities
  • Expect to see about 18-25 patients per day
  • Company provides an iPad with LTE to streamline documentation
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are welcome to apply

Who we're looking for
  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communicator with leadership ability and sound clinical decision-making
  • Compassionate, patient-focused clinician committed to quality care in post-acute and long-term settings
