Job Details

We're looking for a compassionate Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across local skilled nursing facilities in and around Carlinville, IL. This part-time role offers great schedule flexibility, collaboration with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of post-acute and long-term care patients. You'll provide clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities while delivering patient-centered care alongside a supportive team.

Locations
  • Local opportunities in: Casey, Coulterville, Flanagan, Galesburg, Hillsboro, Macomb, Marshall, Mascoutah, and Paris, IL.
  • Additional openings nationwide in: IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, and WI.

What the role looks like
  • Part-time schedule with outstanding flexibility-physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week.
  • No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts.
  • Expect to see 18-25 patients per day.
  • Company provides an iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation.
  • New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are welcome to apply.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license-or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
