Job Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for newborn nurseries, high-risk deliveries, ER consults, and pediatric inpatient units.
• Resuscitate and stabilize critically ill newborns pending transport to the NICU.
• Maintain on-call availability, with the ability to return to the hospital within 20 minutes.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Pediatrician
• Active NY State License
• Certifications in NRP, PALS, BLS
• Experience with Epic charting system required

Working Hours

• Varies, 24-hour on-call shifts
• Participation in both weekday and weekend coverage

• Proficiency in stabilizing and resuscitating critically ill newborns
