Join Our Team as a Physician - Hospitalist in Brattleboro, VT
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is looking for a dedicated full-time MD Hospitalist to join our collaborative, physician-respected, community-based team. Enjoy flexible scheduling and an excellent quality of life in a supportive environment.

Located in the charming town of Brattleboro, Vermont, this small community hospital offers a collegial working relationship with an experienced ED team and surgeons, along with a strong case management team to facilitate patient care and discharges.
Job Responsibilities:

• Work 7-10 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Provide inpatient care for 100% adult observation and hospital admission population.
• Manage an average patient load of 15-20 patients daily.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses; ventilator management experience preferred.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of nursing staff and NP on weekdays.
• Utilize Cerner Community Works for EMR and documentation.
• Participate in weekend coverage as expected.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist work experience - REQUIRED
• VT license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• 1-2 years of hospitalist or comparable inpatient/hospital medicine experience - REQUIRED
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues - REQUIRED
• Submit NPDB within 30 days - REQUIRED AT OFFER

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• DEA Certification
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
