JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active NY State License
  • Board: Board Certified Pediatrician
  • Certifications: NRP, PALS, BLS (AHA or RQI)
  • Other Qualifications: Epic Experience Required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide coverage for Newborn Nursery, including attending high-risk deliveries and stabilizing newborns.
  • Conduct emergency room consults for pediatric patients.
  • Manage the Pediatric inpatient unit, overseeing patient care and treatment plans.
  • Resuscitate and stabilize critically ill newborns pending transport to a higher-level NICU.
  • Perform 24-hour call shifts, remaining accessible and able to return to the hospital within 20 minutes.
