Position Overview:
Seeking a Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist for ongoing inpatient call coverage. The physician will provide care for pediatric patients and manage admissions and assigned patients during call.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pediatric coverage
  
• Evaluate and manage assigned pediatric patients
  
• Manage admissions during call
  
• Perform procedures as clinically required and within scope
  

Required Skills:

• Pediatric inpatient care
  
• Newborn and pediatric ventilation management
  
• Intubation
  
• Central and arterial line placement
  
• Lumbar puncture
  
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis
  
• Chest tube insertion
  
• X-ray and EKG interpretation

• December shifts are specifically available, with 24-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM.
