About the Assignment:
This opportunity is at a renowned hospital providing OB services in Christiansburg, VA. The facility features a busy Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 72 deliveries monthly, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, and excellent team support. You will be covering emergent GYN needs, with backup support from other OBs and surgical teams. NICU services are available at the main hospital, but onsite neonatal care is not present.

Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50

What You ll Do:
- Provide emergent OB/GYN coverage in a busy hospital setting
- Collaborate with in-house anesthesia and backup physicians to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage a high volume of labor and delivery patients, approximately 72 per month
- Support NICU-level care coordination with Level 3B hospital backup
- Assist with GYN emergencies as needed
- Work closely with a dedicated team committed to quality care and patient safety
What You Need:
- Active medical license in Virginia
- Board-certified OB-GYN or Family Medicine with OB training
- Prior hospitalist or OB emergency experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
