JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • Licenses: Licensed in CA
  • DEA: Yes
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
  • Experience: Neonatology experience preferred; Pediatric hospitalist background
  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; no restrictions or drug issues
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient pediatric and neonatal hospitalist coverage, managing 80% NICU and 20% pediatric patients.
  • Perform neonatal airway management including intubation, resuscitation, and management of air leak/pneumothorax.
  • Perform emergent procedures such as UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, and needle decompression.
  • Manage neonatal ventilators and provide respiratory support as needed.
  • Collaborate with ED and anesthesia for pediatric patients requiring chest tubes or intubations.
