Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in North Dakota Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call December 17 - Ongoing Assignment

December 17 (7am) - January 2 (4am)
First stretch of dates start at 4am for handoff, all other shifts start and end at 7am

Coverage Details
24-hour coverage from hotel
Day shift (7am-7pm) plus night call (7pm-7am)
Night tele-hospitalist handles most admissions
Locum provider on call for ICU and admissions requiring in-person provider
10-15 shifts per month

Requirements
Board certified (highly preferred) or board eligible
North Dakota license or IMLC
BLS, PALS
DEA
NRP
Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
Inpatient pediatric hospitalist care
Admission of patients from the emergency department
Rounding and care of admitted pediatric patients
ICU coverage
Medical/surgical pediatric care
OB consults as needed

Assignment Details
Inpatient coverage
Provider needed: 1
Patient population: Pediatric
EMR: Meditech
Support staff: FNP Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Patient volume depends on the day and season, average 2-4 neonates per day and 1-2 inpatient peds patients but RSV and cold season the number can be a little higher
Duties include coverage of all admissions and rounding/care for admitted patients (med/surg/ICU)
Average callback volume: 4-6 per day
