Hospital Medicine Physician Beaumont, TXFull-Time Day & Night Opportunities Practice Overview 385-bed hospital Level III Trauma Center Day and nocturnist positions available 12-hour shifts: Days: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 PM Nights: 7:00 PM Äì7:00 AM Day coverage: 6 physicians + 1 NP/PA Night coverage: 1 physician + 1 NP/PA Closed ICU No procedures required Admissions distributed round-robin among daytime hospitalists with support from the swing-shift APP APP works alongside hospitalists and nocturnists to assist with admissions ICU team manages codes Hospitalists participate in rapid responses alongside the rapid response team and critical care nursing Specialty support available; Dermatology, Rheumatology, and Endocrinology are not available, with partial Ophthalmology coverage Epic EMR 4 hours of stroke CME required Job Qualifications MD or DO Appropriate training for Hospital Medicine Ability to meet required stroke CME requirements Comfortable working within a collaborative physician/APP hospitalist model About BeaumontBeaumont is located in Southeast Texas near the Louisiana border and Gulf Coast.
