Hospitalist Physician

Job Responsibilities

• Admit and round on patients, averaging 7-10 admissions and 4-6 rounds per shift
• Manage a daily patient load of approximately 15 patients
• Work collaboratively with a cross-cover APP starting from 5 PM

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, preferably in Internal Medicine, but Family Medicine may be considered
• Current Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Working Hours

• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Flexible coverage needs, offering 7-14 shifts per month

Skills

• Proficient with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with managing admissions and patient rounds in a rural hospital setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
