• Schedule: Call-only coverage with 24-hour beeper call
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,610 - $9,230
• Start Date: November 1, 2026

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric hospital medicine, neonatology, or a closely related setting
• Active California medical license
• DEA registration required
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Experience with neonatal airway management, newborn resuscitation, and care for 32-week preemies and up
• Comfort managing both NICU patients and pediatric patients in a combined care setting
• Clean professional file preferred for credentialing

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric and neonatal coverage, with a strong focus on NICU care
• Manage newborn resuscitations and stabilize neonates requiring hospitalist support
• Perform neonatal airway management, including intubation when needed
• Support treatment of neonatal air leak and pneumothorax, including needle decompression
• Place UVC and UAC lines, including emergent delivery room UVC access
• Perform lumbar punctures and interpret EKGs
• Collaborate closely with the care team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care
