Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: ASAP Start, Ongoing, Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call; In-House Call, Call Ratio 1:5; Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
• Job Setting: Inpatient, Telehealth, Outpatient; Community Hospital East, Indianapolis, IN; Level 2 Trauma Center; Level III NICU; LDRP Model; 20 Beds in Department; approximately 22 patients per shift; approximately 2,000 deliveries per year; Surgery center and robot available; Full-scope generalist joining a group of 3 other physicians plus a hospitalist (call group of 5); FM residency manages OB triage and assists with floor patients; Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required
• Types of Cases: Low and high risk pregnancy; FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE); OB Ultrasounds (Level I required, Level II preferred); Routine vaginal delivery; C-section decision-making; Complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs; Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); Surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic, and operative/major procedures; Laser certification required; Admissions required

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Laser Certification
• Licensure: Licensed in Indiana (IMLC not accepted)
