Nocturnist Position
- Specialty: Hospital Medicine Nocturnist
- Pay: $200/hr
- Start Date: 12/8
- Duration: Approximately 1 year
- Schedule: 7 PM 7 AM night shifts
- No Call
- Required: FL License, FL DEA, and clean file
- Experience: Hospitalist experience required
- Emergency Privileges: Available
Hospital Details:
- Beds: 532
- Hospitalist Census: 370 patients / hospitalists cover 75% of census
- Rounding: patients/day
- ICU Rounding: Yes
- Admissions: Hospitalist service handles admissions
- Consults: Consulting physician sees approximately /day
- Trauma: No
- Acuity/Specialty Services: ICU, STEMI, Stroke, Transplant Cellular Therapy, Complex Cardiac Center
- Support: Well-staffed hospital with all major subspecialties
- GME: Teaching program; teaching teams participate in grand rounds
Clinical Expectations:
- Procedures: Not required
- Vent Management: Not required
- Intensivists: Available for ICU/vent management
- APP Support: APP opening available at the site
- No specific fellowship/certification required
- Orientation: Standard protocol
- Case Logs: Per credentialing requirements
