Locums - Ft. Walton Beach, Florida NP/PA Hospitalist Opportunity

Clinical Role

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locums Hospitalist opportunity in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. This is a day rounder position with responsibility for inpatient admissions and Behavioral Health clinical notes. No procedures are required.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• Contract Length: Minimum 3 months
• Schedule: 7-on/7-off
• Shift: 6:00 am-6:00 pm
• Late Call: 3:00 pm-6:00 pm, approximately 3-4 times per week
• Responsibilities: Inpatient admissions and Behavioral Health clinical notes
• Patient Volume: Approximately 21-25 patients per physician
• Admissions: Approximately 3-4 per physician daily
• Consults: Approximately 1-2 daily; volume varies
• ICU: Open ICU with intensivist team on-site
• Procedures: Not required
• Orientation: Orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift
• Credentialing: Case logs required
• Requirements: Active Florida license
