Hospitalist Opportunity Kankakee, IL ; 1h south of Chicago
- Salary $250k + bonus potential. Average salary for 2025 was $350,000
- Fully incentivized production model.
- Occurrence-based malpractice insurance
- Health, dental, and vision insurance paid; HSA eligible
- 401K, safe harbor, and profit sharing plan
- Hospital: 220 beds, 16 open ICU beds, IM residency program. EPIC EMR
- Most services available, including neurosurgery and cardiovascular surgery.
- Codes and RRTs typically covered by residents, as well as Hospitalists for guidance.
- Average census per doctor: daytime ~18,
- Typically 7h-10h per day shift. ~ week-on ~ week-off.
- Nights required. Equal rotation amongst team. 7night calls in 11 weeks
