Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity:

APP - Hospital Medicine

Job Details:

Inpatient hospital medicine role with day rounding schedule

Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off, on-site position

Shift times are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Late call required from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 3 to 4 times per week

APPs will complete Behavioral Health clinical notes and perform inpatient admits

Daily admits of approximately 3 to 4 patients per provider

Census of approximately 21 to 25 patients per provider

Consults of 1 to 2 per day, varies

Open ICU with intensivist team on site

Trauma center on site

No procedures required

No vent management required

Minimum 3-month duration of need

This facility is a large acute care hospital with approximately 300 beds, offering a full range of inpatient medical services including a trauma center and intensive care unit. The hospital supports a collaborative care model with an intensivist team on site and provides a well-structured environment for hospital medicine providers. The facility is equipped with modern electronic medical records systems and offers orientation and training support for incoming providers.
