Hospitalist Physician

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday in clinic (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM); 8 call shifts per month (beeper call, may be sporadic). One weekend of 24-hour call (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) and 5 weekday night call shifts (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM) per month. Preference for one full-time provider, but open to 2 providers covering 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Guaranteed 8 hours per day; overtime applies after 9 hours.

• Start Date: January 1, 2027 (Ongoing)
• EMR System: Epic
• Patients Per Shift: 15
• Average Deliveries Per Year: 208 (approximately 0-2 deliveries per 24-hour call shift)
• Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days; temporary privileges are not available. Both OB and GYN privileges are required - providers must supply sufficient case logs from the past 24 months.
• Interview Process: Virtual interview with clinical team following candidate screening by clinic manager. Please include availability for interviews over the next two weeks on your bid.
• Malpractice Insurance: Provided by Vendor

• Low Risk Pregnancy: Required
• High Risk Pregnancy: Preferred
• FHR Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE): Required
• OB Ultrasounds - Performance and Interpretation: Required (Level I/Screening)
• Routine Delivery: Required (Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section)
• Complicated Delivery: Required (C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions)
• Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations: Required
• Office/Minor Gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.): Required
• Surgical Gynecology: Preferred (Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor, Operative/Major including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years; fellowship required
• Certifications: BLS and NRP required
• Licensure: Active Oregon license required; DEA required; IMLC not accepted
• Provider Type: Physician
• Current CV: Required
