Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient physician experience required
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Ability to provide strong inpatient coverage in a fast-paced hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage for admissions and cross coverage on night shifts
• Accept and manage admissions as part of a collaborative inpatient medicine team
• Cross-cover hospitalized patients outside of the ICU as needed
• Work closely with the intensivist team for ICU-related admission acceptance in a closed ICU environment
• Deliver timely, high-quality care for adult and mixed-age inpatient populations
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established Cerner workflows
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy acute care hospital
