What You ll Do:

• Provide medical care to adult patients with diverse acute illnesses in a hospital setting
• Examine patients upon admission and coordinate their care plans
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results (labs, X-rays)
• Collaborate with hospital staff, primary care teams, and specialists
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shifts
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in EPIC system

What You Need:

• NY State Medical License in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years recent hospitalist or internal medicine experience
• Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and commitment to quality patient care

About the Assignment:
This hospitalist/nocturnist role at a reputable facility in Massena, NY, involves providing essential inpatient care to adult patients. The unit features an acuity level of acutely ill adults with an average patient ratio of 1:10-15 and uses EPIC charting. The shift schedule offers a 7 on/7 off cycle, providing a balanced work-life routine. Nurses, LPNs, and other staff support the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care in a 109-bed facility designated as a Level 1 Perinatal Center and DNV-Accredited Facility.
