Hospitalist Physician

Locums - Derry, New Hampshire, Nocturnist Opening

Clinical Role

• Start date: December 15, 2026
• 3-month assignment
• Hospital Medicine - nights
• Seasoned providers comfortable managing 18-20+ encounters encouraged to apply
• Underserved patient population

Orientation

• 2 orientation/shadow shifts
• Each orientation shift is 12 hours

Practice Setting & Patient Volume

• 120-bed hospital
• Census: approximately 50-60 patients
• Approximately 10-12 admissions per day
• Rounding volume: approximately 15-22 patients, depending on volume and shift
• Approximately 1-2 behavioral health or surgical consults per day
• Level II trauma setting; trauma surgery manages trauma cases with limited Hospitalist involvement

Support & Clinical Resources

• On-site intensivist manages drips and ventilators
• Procedural support from Emergency Medicine, Surgery, and Intensivist teams
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech-Language Pathology
• Case management
• Respiratory Therapy
• Meditech EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active New Hampshire license required
