What You ll Do

• Cover the emergency room, inpatient floors, triage, and obstetric calls during shift
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and gynecological emergencies
• Serve as the first responder for ED consults and OB/GYN emergencies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNMs and residents
• Participate in high-risk obstetric care including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal anomalies
• Manage postpartum patients, perform vaginal deliveries, and conduct gynecological procedures like IUD insertions and ultrasounds
• Provide consultative support for complex GYN cases and regional trauma transfer center duties

What You Need

• Valid medical license for Wisconsin (or IMLC accepted)
• Board Certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA
• 1-3 years of obstetric and gynecological experience; preference for 3+ years
• Strong skills in delivery, outpatient care, and high-risk obstetrics

Join a regional trauma and transfer center in Madison, serving rural hospitals with a full scope of OB/GYN services. This 7-day per week role involves night shifts providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including high-risk pregnancies, emergency gynecological cases, and outpatient visits. Support includes dedicated CNMs and on-call specialists, ensuring a team-based, hospital-focused environment delivering top-quality care.
