Hospitalist Coverage Ongoing Assignment

WPA Medicine Staff ing is seeking BCFamily Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians for hospitalist coverage at two acute care hospitals in Virginia. This opportunity offers both day-rounder and nocturnist positions, with a minimum commitment of 10 shifts per month.
Assignment Highlights

• 4 FTE total needed
  • 1 Day Rounder + 1 Nocturnist at Hospital A
  • 2 Day Rounders at Hospital B
• Minimum commitment: 10 shifts per month
• EMR: Epic
• No call
• No scribe coverage
  
• Both facilities are acute care hospitals
• No onsite specialty backup outside of the ICU
• Hospital A physicians must be comfortable working with Family Medicine residents
• Clean-file candidates may be eligible for expedited locum privileges

Requirements

• BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  
• ACLS and BLS
• Active Virginia medical license
• Virginia DEA
  
• Physicians must be comfortable working with Family Medicine residents
