Quick Facts Location: 736 Battlefield Boulevard North, Chesapeake, VA 23320 Start Date: 12/30/2025 Duration: Ongoing/As needed Shift: Day/Evening/Night shifts available (varies) Hours/week: Up to 40+ hours Employment Type: Travel/Locum/Per diem Licenses/Certifications: Active Medical License in VA (or eligible) Experience: Prior OB Hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide expert OB hospitalist coverage at a leading facility in Chesapeake, VA Manage case assessments and coordinate patient care with hospital staff Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare team members Document patient interactions accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards What You Need Required: Valid Medical license in Virginia Board Certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology At least X years of obstetric or hospitalist experience Strong clinical skills and excellent communication skills Preferred: Previous hospitalist or OB hospitalist experience in a hospital setting Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to hospital needs About the Assignment Join a dynamic team caring for obstetric patients in a hospital environment dedicated to high-quality maternal health.
