Position overview

Position overview
Provide part-time medical direction and attending physician coverage for local skilled nursing facilities. Partner with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care, provide clinical oversight, and support quality outcomes in post-acute and long-term care settings.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as attending physician and medical director across assigned skilled nursing facilities
- Collaborate with onsite APPs to evaluate, diagnose, and manage resident care
- Provide clinical leadership, develop and enforce care protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Document care using company-provided iPad (LTE)
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and family communication as needed
Schedule and clinical load
- Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week
- No fixed daily start/end times, no overnight shifts, no call responsibilities
- Typical volume: 18-25 visits per day
- Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
- New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply

Qualifications
- MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
