Practice Setting

• Inpatient adult Hospital Medicine coverage
• Midland, 325 beds; closed ICU with intensivist available 24/7; average census around 20 patients each
• Alma, 80 beds; open ICU with pulmonologist available 24/7; average 15 to 18 patients per provider
• Tawas, 47 bed acute inpatient facility; patients split between med med surg and a CCU step down; ED runs codes after midnight

Schedule

• 3 to 4 day stretches preferred
• Mix of rounding, admitting, and nights depending on site need
• Tawas includes 7a to 7p coverage with on call at night
• Orientation required, 1 business day before start

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, open to IMLC Physicians
• Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine CAQ
• ACLS and ACGME approved residency required; 50 inpatient logs within the last 12 months required for verification
